This is not about gadgets, apps or another useless social network. It is about transforming the very concept of newspapers, as in, literally, news + paper, in an interactive way.

Interactive newsprint is developing, as they describe it, an interactive paper, a type of "smart" paper:

It is responsive to a human touch – the images or text printed on it can change, or play a sound once a certain area on the surface is pressed. This means that sheets of paper can turn into interactive displays.

Furthermore, this project is researching and focusing its development based on community interests' platforms, as an alternative to the technology companies orientation.

A fantastic way of exploring the reinvention of the newspaper, an alternative bringing new ideas to the world of news and Media.

Twitter se ha convertido en una plataforma más de flujo de información. Mucho de lo que circula puede ser irrelevante pero también ofrece noticias, anuncios primiciales (como el tweet del presidente venezolano Hugo Chávez luego de su reciente cirugía), servicios, y otras piezas informativas que podrían referenciarse en un artículo, documento académico o trabajo de clase.

En ese caso ¿cómo citar un tweet correctamente?

Propongo un ejemplo siguiendo las normas APA:

Como prueba pública del fortalecimiento de las relaciones políticas centroamericanas, los presidentes de Costa Rica, Laura Chinchilla, y su par guatemalteco, Otto Pérez, comentaron sobre la acción conjunta en la emergencia del cerro Chirripó. Laura Chinchilla (Laura_Ch 04 de marzo, 2012) mencionó en Twitter: "Se confirma llegada d[e] helicóptero para atender emergencia Chirripó mañana desde Guatemala. Gracias @ottoperezmolina [Otto Pérez] en nombre de CR [Costa Rica]".

Hay otros formatos de referenciación, aunque sugiero se use APA, prácticamente todas las publicaciones académicas siguen este formato bajo normas ISO. Aquí pueden leer más.
